Subject: Access Violation under Windows XP

Applies to: HydroCAD 10.2-2a to 10.2-2g

Description

When HydroCAD running under Windows XP, an access violation may occur in the system file NTDLL.DLL.

Technical Details

HydroCAD 10.2 uses an updated compiler which may result in an access violation when trying to access the following input screens: Broad-crested rectangular weir, Settings/Watershed, and Flow Match node.  Other areas of HydroCAD can be used without difficulty.

Recommendation

To correct the problem install HydroCAD 10.1-3a or later.
