Setting up your rainfall events manuallyAlthough HydroCAD provides several options to automatically create your rainfall events, it's also very easy to define your own events by hand.
2) Select the Rainfall tab, as shown at the right. 3) In the Storm Type box, select the one of the predefined rainfall distributions from the drop-down list, such as the Type II 24-hr. 4) Type the desired rainfall Depth for your first event. 5) Click inside the box for Rainfall Event Name and type the corresponding event name (e.g. 25-year). Do not select from the drop-down list or you will recall an existing event. If this occurs, simply go back to step 3. 6) Click the Save button. (Do not click OK or apply at this time.) 7) Repeat steps 3-6 for each event. 8) Click View All to see a complete list of your rainfall events. 9) Click OK twice to return to the main screen. 10) You can now select the desired rainfall event from the drop-down list at the top of the main screen. |
