HydroCAD Training Seminar
Course DescriptionThis course is designed for students who already have some familiarity with HydroCAD. The seminar will cover basic principles of hydrology, how the software works, different ways of modeling drainage structures, hydrograph routing effects, etc. We will review assumptions of modeling stormwater flows, with special attention to gauging the validity of those assumptions. (How to avoid the "garbage in, garbage out" syndrome.) For additional details please see the on-line training slides, as well as our general seminar page. Self-training materials are also available for those who are unable to attend the seminar. Who Will BenefitThis course will sharpen the modeling skills that are essential for civil engineers, regulatory and enforcement personnel, stormwater managers and consultants.
InstructorsPeter Smart, President, HydroCAD Software Solutions, LLC FormatThis 1-day program will include a combination of live presentation, pre-recorded materials, and software exercises. Attendees will receive printed copies of the entire program, plus a free copy of the HydroCAD Owner's Manual. This program is being held in a computer lab with pre-installed HydroCAD software. If you prefer, you may bring a laptop computer with your own HydroCAD software. If necessary, you may obtain a free HydroCAD Sampler for the purposes of the seminar. RegistrationPlease make all reservations using our on-line registration form. Attendance is limited to 25-people per day. We expect to be fully booked, so early registration is recommended.
