1) Draw the subcatchment boundaries
2) Draw the ground covers
3) Draw your soil groups
4) Click "Update"

Subcatchment data is automatically extracted and appears instantly in your HydroCAD model, ready for use with any of HydroCAD's built-in features.  And when your design changes, just adjust the drawing layers and click update to refresh the HydroCAD model.  Details here.
